DGIST Holds an Exchange Meeting on Promising Technologies in Information Security

Offering a chance to interact with companies in information security by showcasing DGIST’s technologies

 DGIST announced that a technology exchange meeting will be held on Wednesday March 31st, to introduce DGIST’s information security technologies to companies and exchanges ideas at a meeting room in  Seoul Station, AREX.

 The exchange meeting will be divided into two sections. Each section will introduce a DGIST’s novel technology in the information security and will also offer participants and presenters a chance to freely interact about the technologies that are introduced. In both sections, the researchers who developed the technology will personally participate in the event to listen to the opinions of the companies on the technology, along with in-depth technical consultation.

 The first Section will introduce the that uses the , which precisely detects cache memory based security attacks on computer systems, alongside the Trusted Execution Environment(TEE) technology to ensure a safe computing environment. These technologies can be used to protect the information that require highly advanced security system such as financial information.

 The second Section will introduce the and the that can potentially step up the network security in the physical layer. These technologies can be applied to the communication between electric devices inside a vehicle for the provision of benefits of double security system without changing the existing network system.

 “A variety of information and communication technologies, such as autonomous driving and IoT, are applied to our lifestyles, accelerating the market demand for information security technologies,”said Ju Tak Han, Head of the Center for Technology Commercialization, DGIST. He also added that “We will aggressively promote exchange with related companies so that the information security technology that DGIST developed can protect our everyday lives.”

 The exchange meeting is only available to people who register in advance, due to COVID-19.
