Undergraduate Research Exchange Program

This program is to provide undergraduate students of DGIST and its partner university supervised research experience in the field of science and engineering while visiting each other’s institution.

Program

Overview

  • When : During Summer (for 6-8weeks)
  • How many : 4~10 annually, mainly juniors and seniors by the time of exchange
  • As part of the program, the host institution will be responsible for identifying participating research labs and suitable faculty supervisors, advising program students, providing assistance in locating housing.

Dec.~ Feb. · Announce plans for the program and open the application
· Screening of the applicants
By the end of February · Exchange the list and information of selected students
· Review documents on the nominated students
· Lab matching
1st of March · Final decision on the list of program students
Mid April ~ Mid May · Help incoming program students prepare for the visit
· Decide the exact dates of beginning/end of the program
At the Beginning of the Program · Provide in-country orientation
June~August (6~8 weeks) · Research experience by program students
· (During the last week) Final presentation by the student
By the end of September · Review of the exchange program
