International Student Association
Established in 2024, DISA is a dynamic student-led organization dedicated to fostering a sense of community and diversity at DGIST. We work hand in hand with the International Affairs Team (IAT) to provide valuable support and resources for both Korean and all international members.
At DISA, we recognize the importance of addressing the diverse needs of our student body. Our team, consisting of 6 core executives and approximately 10 core team members, actively engages with students to understand their concerns and interests. In addition to our core team, we have a network of dedicated volunteers who assist us in organizing and executing our various events and activities.
One of our primary objectives is to create opportunities for students to connect and socialize. We organize a wide range of events throughout the academic year, including picnics, trips, and dinners, which provide students with the chance to relax, have fun, and forge lasting friendships.
In addition to social events, DISA also facilitates educational and cultural exchange initiatives. We host short seminars and interactive talks on relevant topics to promote learning and discussion among students. Furthermore, our Korean language exchange program offers students the opportunity to improve their language skills while fostering cross-cultural understanding.
