FGLP

Overview

The Freshman Global leadership Program (FGLP) provides undergraduates with the opportunity to study abroad during the summer at top universities. The program aims to cultivate international competence and foster leadership skills among participants.

Host University

  • [The U.S.] UC Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Wisconsin Madison​, Boston University, Purdue University, University of Virginia, University of Washington, Johns Hopkins University
  • [England] Cambride University
  • [The Netherlands] Maastricht University (UM)
  • [Hong Kong] Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)
  • [Singapore] NTU Singapore

    The Host University may be subject to change.

Eligibility

  • Freshmen and sophomores (undergraduates who have completed four or fewer semesters)
  • Meet the language proficiency requirements of the host university they intend to apply to. (Specific grade criteria may vary by university.)
  • Have a specific study plan

Benefits

Financial support for tuition, registration, and dormitory fees (up to KRW 10,000,000)

Airfare, travel insurance, and visa fees are the responsibility of the participant.

FGLP participants from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are eligible for additional support for round-trip airfare.
